Mixed Scrap Steel (HMS1) fell $21.79 CDN/TON over the past 30 days. Prices decreased $6.97 CDN/TON yesterday from the previous day. In the past 90 days HMS1 has declined $75.47 CDN/TON.

The Canadian Scrap Metals Index which includes scrap steel as well as 5 other benchmark grades of scrap metals including non-ferrous, has declined 12.19% in the past year and over the past 24 months the index has advanced 1.23%.
