In the past 7 days No.1 Heavy Melt Steel Scrap fell $0.96 CDN/TON, #2 copper was up $0.29 USD/LBS, Aluminum Extrusion Scrap increased $0.12 USD/LBS and Zinc Die Cast scrap was negative $0.25 USD/LBS.
The Canadian Scrap Metals Index which includes scrap steel as well as 5 other benchmark grades of scrap metals including non-ferrous,
has declined 15.60% in the past year and over the past 24 months the index has advanced 1.80%.
